Final Wash
What is the best thing to do before starting to use silicone-free products?
The products on Krullur.is contain no silicones.
They are fully water-soluble so there is no need to use harsh sulfates.
Silicone is in most hair products we know. Silicone is like a "Quick Fix" because what it does is coat each hair and give it a healthy finish. But instead, moisture and nutrients have a hard time reaching the hair and scalp. Curly and wavy hair needs more moisture than straight hair, so using silicone products is not recommended.
But how do you get silicone out of your hair? To do this, you need to use sulfate-free shampoos, which usually dry out your hair even more. Therefore, it is recommended to use a sulfate-free shampoo without silicones, just once, before you start using silicone-free products.
This is called "Final Wash" and you can find a lot of information about it online, it's a good idea to use Google and Youtube.
In order to get the full benefit of the products from Krullur.is, we recommend taking this step.
You can expect your hair to look less healthy once you've rid it of silicone, but over time it will become healthier and more beautiful.
