Clarifying Shampoo vs. Final Wash

The difference between Clarifying Shampoo and Final Wash Shampoo:

Final Wash:

Used once at the beginning and good to keep.
Rids hair of silicone.

If you have a hair product at home that contains SLS and no silicones, then you should use Final Wash. Yes, you can use men's shampoo and even bubble bath products if the ingredients are okay.

Clarifying Shampoo:

Contains no sulfates.
Gets rid of build-up but not silicone.
Build-Up occasionally occurs from nature (Environmental Build-Up) and most hair products (Product Build-Up).
Much milder than sulfate shampoos.
Strips the hair, so it's good to use a deep conditioner afterwards.

It is recommended that everyone has a Clarifying Shampoo to use every now and then. If there is too much build-up and it is not removed, it will cause hair loss, frizz, and other related problems for most people.
