What is Hot Head?
Hot Head is a unique microwavable deep conditioning heat cap developed by a professional hairstylist. It offers an easy and stylish way to achieve the results of a salon quality conditioning treatment at home. The fact that there are no cords and no plugs means that you are free to move about while deep conditioning your hair.
Hot Head is available in multiple prints, and is also reversible, so your style can fit your mood. When using Hot Head, you can feel good about the way you look while conditioning your hair, and dramatically improve the results of your hair treatment.
Why do I need it?
Many of us know that deep conditioning is essential to healthy hair. Our daily lives put a lot of strain on our locs. Just being out in the elements can be harsh, but add in all the chemicals and high heat tools that many of us use, you can then see why it is so necessary to re-hydrate and nourish your hair. However, when we apply a deep conditioner without heat, the treatment can only do so much to improve the quality of our strands. Naturally, our hair cuticle is closed, and so the treatment is only able to work on the surface of the hair shaft, leaving minimal improvements.
This is where Hot Head comes in. The gentle heat provided by Hot Head enables the hair cuticle to open for an extended period, allowing the deep conditioner to penetrate the hair shaft and nourish it from the inside out. Hot Head works great to enhance all store bought deep conditioners, hair masks, hot oil treatments, and DIY hair treatments. All hair types and textures will benefit from deep conditioning with Hot Head!
How does it work?
Hot Head is a reusable heat cap filled with sustainable flaxseed, making it the most environmentally friendly way to deep condition your hair with heat at home. Since it’s microwavable, there is no need to plug it into an outlet or use batteries to generate the heat. Simply microwave your Hot Head (carefully following the provided instructions) and place it on top of your conditioned hair. Gone are the days of using a big, bulky, inefficient towel or being trapped under a hooded dryer!
